Acell for Hair Loss
Hair loss is one of the natural fashion disasters. Strand by strand, the good looks bid adieu as thinning reigns supreme. So what do you do to counter that? A comb over is a common response albeit it’s too obvious and not so good looking. What’s next, go for the buzz cut? So you remove your hair altogether just to not lose hair? That’s pretty much counterproductive in the longer run. Hair transplants are a good solution since there are so many to choose from and they offer great results. However, not everyone likes to go under the knife. So what to do next? ACell therapy for hair loss can do the trick for you. That is correct! It is a noninvasive treatment that works like magic for hair restoration for people with hair thinning issues.
What is ACell?
It is a growth therapy system which helps in expediting the healing process. Research in recent years has allowed it to be used for the purpose of improving the conditions of the follicles and allowing stronger growth of hair. The ACellMatristem system comes in powdered and sheet form. The former is used for the purpose of correcting the hair loss problem.
How does it work?
Prior to the treatment, topical anesthetics are applied to the skin to numb it down so that the pin pricks caused by the injection do not bother the patient. The powdered medication is then injected into the scalp in areas where hair thinning is taking place in multiple sites in small quantities. The injections are injected into the fat adjacent to the follicles since this helps to turn the stem cells into progenitor cells.
The follicle in the process gets protection from the ill effects of Dihydro testosterone (DHT) which is the hormone responsible for hair loss. The absence of DHT allows the hair to gain strength. The procedure generally takes half an hour to an hour and a half to complete depending on the size of the area being covered.
